It's never too early or too late to teach your child proper behavior and manners.manners
Set a good example. Unfair to expect the courtesy of a child if his parents were not kind to yourself.
Teach your child manners in stages, as his understanding and skills develop. Probably will not do any good by asking two year old child to stop chewing with his mouth open, he probably has no understanding and physical coordination to comply. But for 4 or 5 years old, your child should have the ability to understand the reasons for such
Start using words and phrases such as "Please," "Thank you", "sorry", "sorry", and "Can I? "What's more, when you are close to the child. Encourage your child to do the same.
Be aware of what and how you talk around children, they mimic the speech of adults.
Ask your child to address adults with some degree of formality - ie, Mrs. Lekic, Ms. Brown, Mr. Savic - unless they grew up they do not say that it does work, but to call them by name.
Repeat the ground rules with your child whenever necessary. They should learn how to shake hands, show respect for older people, behave quietly in public places and avoid interrupting other people in the conversation. They also need to learn not to play with things other people unless given permission to do so.
Avoid ignoring bad behavior, or wait to talk about it. Set the rule when it breaks your child.
Talk again about the behavior alone, so that you can talk about policy details and make sure your child understands how to behave in the future.
Praise your child for good behavior.
Tip: When you teach a child manners or correcting, try to never embarrass a child in public.
