    Venus's Transit Across The Sun is happening right now!

    Venus is passing directly in front of the Sun and will be visible from Earth for a period of seven hours. This will be the last occurrence this century...so plan accordingly...and make... sure to *properly protect your eyes* when viewing this event in plain sight.

    In the Western Hemisphere the transit started in the afternoon hours on June 5th - in the Eastern Hemisphere the transit started in the morning hours on June 6th.

      • Kristin Walker Perfect timing. I just drove my son INSANE by singing Ring of Fire as if I were Johnny Cash. Every time he would beg me to please stop, I would stop and then five seconds later start up again. It was glorious.
